Barrel Bash January Ocala Rules:

• The average format will pay out based on the best two of all three runs; Fri, Sat & Sun. You can enter all three days or just two to qualify. It will be the best two of two or best two of three runs.
• Futurity is for 4 & 5 year olds not raced before November 15, 2025. Must have copy of papers in the office before Friday at noon printed or emailed. Email to BrandonPerdueProductions@gmail.com. Entry cut off will be at 6pm Thursday January 15
• Futurity Gold Ticket entries must be entered by Noon on Friday January 16. This will ensure we have all the information needed and can verify futurity eligibility. Gold Ticket futurity entries are $1,000 and 100% payback but must enter the 2 day futurity to be eligible.
• Futurity and Derby is 2 Go’s, and an Average. Derby will be run as a 3D with .5 splits.
• Derby Horse age will be 8 years and younger.
• Pre-entries must be done online before Monday Jan 12, at Midnight. Late fees apply after 1/13. Checks need to be post marked by 12/29
• All payments made with credit card will be charged a 6% fee. This will include the 3 % Saddlebook Fee
• It will be a $20.00 office fee to change horse or rider after entry is completed. Each time a change is needed it will be a $20 fee.
• The Sweepstakes race you can enter until you run your horse. It will run as a one race side pot. You can roll any of your times from the weekend into the race. $150 entry fee with 90% payback.
• Vet outs must be done before midnight at 1/12 and will be refunded entry fee only.
• No refunds on stalls or hook ups.
• Late entries will be issued a late fee every time the rider enters after 1/13
• All horses must be stalled. No tie outs will be allowed. If a horse is tied out after 3 hours after the show ends its owner is excepting the $250 fine given by the county or allowing producer to move their horse into a stall and pay the weekend stall fee.
• Friday, Saturday and Sunday, Western attire required. Long sleeve, collared shirt, cowboy hat or helmet unless wearing a production shirt and production hat.
• $40 fee for returned checks
• All prizes will be given after the show or designated time on Sunday and MUST BE present to receive them. Any Ties will go back to the fastest time that horse ran of the weekend.
• Standard 4-D Format that will be paid 100% of added money and 70% of the entry fees.
• Stalls are good from Thursday night to Sunday Evening. Stalls are first come first serve. Stalls needing specific priority must be bought online together. Anyone who comes in before 2 pm on Thursday will be responsible for paying for Thursday night
• The first 260 stalls will be charged $95 and come with a bag of shavings. All stalls purchased after that will be temporary stalls. If Temporary stalls are brought in prices will be determined by producer at the time stalls are brought in to be purchased online
• Hook Ups must be paid online and first come first serve.
• Horses must check into the holding pen the drag before. If they are not in the holding pen they will forfeit their run.
• All checks will be mailed by the following Tuesday if a w9 is filed into the office. If a w9 is not filed onsite we will mail you your check within 30 days of the date we have received your w9. After checks are mailed, we will wait 21 days before any checks will be reissued if lost.
• Any errors regarding results or side pots must be reported in person to the office staff before the end of the class in question. No changes will be made once checks have been issued. Check real-time results at Saddlebook.com
• All entries will be done via saddlebook. If using the check option the check must be mailed and postmarked by 12/27
• The show schedule will be posted the two weeks before the barrel race on the event Facebook page. Tentative schedule posted below
• Checks must be cashed within 60 days of issue date or they will be considered void/null and you will have to pay $20 reissue fee to be reissued a check
• Perdue Productions reserves the right to create any new rule or modify any existing rule, in order to better the sport or this barrel race. We will run off of NBHA and WPRA rules
