Barrel Bash Andalusia Rules - Sept 20, 21, & 22:

• The average format will pay out based on the best two of all three runs: Fri, Sat & Sun.
• Any All incentives must be done through the incentive websites unless stated otherwise on saddle book. Please go to the incentive website for all rules and registration information.
• We will stop the Barrel Race to run the American if needed. We will make an announcement at the first 50 big drag if we think we will need to stop the open to run the American. Please pay attention to both the announcer and the Facebook page for this information. If you must give meds or need special timing and you are after drag 150 this will be on you to pay attention and time your run correctly. Their will be no refunds because you did not pay attention to this rule or plan accordingly.
• All Incentive and side pots sanctioned by other associations entries must go on the incentive race’s web site and contestant is responsible for reading and following that incentives rules and entry process.
• Derby Horse age will be 8 years and younger
• Pre-entries must be done online before Monday September 16, at Midnight. Late fees apply on 9/12.
• Payments made with check must be paid in advance. Only entries can paid with a check, all stalls must be done online. If you choose to pay with a check entries must be done before Aug 26 and check must be sent and postmarked before August 26
• All payments made with credit card will be charged a 5% fee.
• No refunds for rider and no rider changes & No entry will be accepted without a name in the horse column. It will be a $20.00 office fee to change horses order after draw is posted per change. Vet outs must be done before midnight at 9/16 and will be refunded entry fee only.
• No refunds on stalls or hook ups
• Late entries will be issued a late fee one time
• All horses must be stalled. No tie outs will be allowed. If a horse is tied out after 3 hours after the show ends its owner is accepting the $250 fine given by the county or allowing producer to move their horse into a stall and pay the weekend stall fee.
• Friday, Saturday and Sunday, Western attire required. Long sleeve, cowboy hat or helmet unless wearing a production shirt and production hat
• $40 fee for returned checks
• Side pots will be paid 80/20
• Futurity show case each horse will have three times to enter the arena. On Saturday they will have a 60 second exhibition. The announcer will announce at the 40 second timeline. After every horse has a 60 second exhibition time each horse will get a run. We will drag every ten during the 60 second exhibition and we will drag every 5 on their second time entering the arena. On Sunday each horse will have one time only run and we will drag every three. We will have a running draw for both Saturday and Sunday.
• All prizes will be given after the show on Sunday and MUST BE present to receive them.
• Standard 4-D Format that will be paid 100% of added money and 70% of the entry fees
• The LOTTO race will be a side pot with a $300 entry fee and will be a side pot for your open run. You can roll one time or all three times from the open into the LOTTO side pot. All three times will be entered into one 4-D Barrel Race which will pay as one race but give you chances to enter up to three times. At 150 entries we will pay 5 holes in each D and with every 50 entries we will add another hole in each D. 88% of entry fee and 100% of added money will go into the pot.
• No refund/rider changes on the “Lotto” Barrel Race
• Stalls are good from Friday night to Sunday Evening. Stalls are first come first serve. Stalls needing specific priority must be bought online together. Anyone who comes in before 6am on Friday 9/20 will be responsible for paying for Wednesday night
• The first 200 stalls will be charged $85 and come with a bag of shavings. All stalls purchased after that will be temporary stalls and cost $95 and will not come with shavings but will be on clay
• Hook Ups must be paid online and first come first serve.
• If you want to be stalled next to someone or want to have RV spots next to one another, you need to purchase them together under one name under one transaction. That is the only way we can guarantee them being together.
• Horses must check into the holding pen the drag before. If they are not in the holding pen they will forfeit their run
• All checks will be mailed by the following Monday if a w9 is filed into the office. If a w9 is not filed onsite we will mail you your check within 30 days of the date we have received your w9. After checks are mailed, we will wait 21 days before any checks will be reissued if lost.
• Checks must be cashed within 60 days of issue date or they will be considered void/null and you will have to pay $25 reissue fee to be reissued a check
• Any errors regarding results or side pots must be reported in person to the office staff before the end of the class in question. No changes will be made once checks have been issued. Check real-time results at Saddlebook for information on times and class results.
• The show schedule will be posted the week before the barrel race on the event Facebook page
• Perdue Productions reserves the right to create any new rule or modify any existing rule, in order to better the sport or this barrel race. We will run off of NBHA and WPRA rules.
• These rules are subject to change if needed. Please go on the saddlebook entry form for exact updated rules and follow them accordingly.
